Refunds and failed errands
The short version: if an errand couldn't start, you get it back automatically. For anything else, write to us and we'll sort it out.
An errand that couldn't start
If an errand fails, or you stop it while it is still waiting its turn, before Falef has made its first hop, the errand goes back to your balance straight away. You don't need to ask.
An errand that started but didn't finish
An errand that has made hops uses the errand, even if the answer was incomplete or a site blocked Falef. We know that is frustrating. If an errand didn't do what it should have, email us the task and what went wrong, and we will review it. Where it is fair, we will put the errand back in your balance or refund the payment.
Charged, but no errands arrived, or charged twice
If you paid and your balance didn't change, or you were charged twice, email us with the email on your account, the date and the payment reference from your receipt. We will add the errands or refund the extra charge.
Refunds go back where they came from
A refund goes back to the card or account you paid with, through Paystack, our payment provider. Your bank decides how long it takes to show up.
Things to know
- The free hops in your first task cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
- Errands you buy don't expire.
- Your statement may show Startup Map Hub, the business behind Falef. If you don't recognise a charge, write to us and we'll help you find it. You can still ask your bank about it at any time.
