Terms of service
These terms are between you and Startup Map Hub ("we"), the business behind Falef. By creating an account or using Falef you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it.
1. What Falef is
Falef is an AI agent. You describe a task, and it uses its own private browser to visit web pages, read them and report back with an answer and screenshots. It does this on your instruction and shows you what it is doing as it happens.
2. Your account
You need an email address and a password. Keep your password to yourself: what happens under your account is your responsibility. You can delete your account at any time from the Account link in the sidebar, and it deletes your tasks with it.
3. Tasks, errands, hops and packs
- A task is one chat. Each message you send in it is an errand. A hop is one move Falef makes, such as opening a page or clicking a button.
- An errand takes at most 40 hops, so nothing goes on forever.
- A new account gets a free allowance of hops, to use in its first task. After that, each errand uses one errand from a pack you have bought.
- Packs are one-time purchases, priced in US dollars on the pricing page. There is no subscription and nothing renews by itself. Errands you buy don't expire. If we change prices, it applies to later purchases, never to packs you already bought.
- Payments are handled by Paystack. Your card details go to Paystack and never reach us.
- Failed errands and refunds are covered on the refunds page.
4. What you may ask it to do
Use Falef for lawful tasks and in a way that is fair to the sites it visits. You must not use it to:
- collect personal information about private people, or build contact lists to sell, spam or harass;
- scrape a site in a way its own terms forbid, or overload it;
- try passwords or stolen logins, or get around a site's security, logins or paywalls;
- reach private networks or internal addresses;
- break the law, or help someone else do so;
- buy, sell or promote anything illegal or harmful.
Falef won't log in to your accounts, type passwords or pay for anything, and you shouldn't put passwords or other secrets in a task.
5. Answers can be wrong
Falef is AI. It can misread a page, miss something, or be blocked by a site, and the web changes all the time. Every answer comes with screenshots so you can check it. Check anything important before you rely on it, and don't treat an answer as medical, legal or financial advice.
6. Other people's websites
The pages Falef reads belong to other people. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what they say or do. Some sites block automated browsers, and we don't try to defeat that.
7. Your content
What you type, and the answers you get, are yours. You give us permission to process them to provide the service to you. That includes sending them to the AI provider described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for having the right to ask for what you ask for.
8. Stopping the service
We may stop an errand, limit your use or suspend an account if these terms are broken, if use looks abusive, or to protect the service or other people. We may also set daily limits on how many errands an account can start. You may stop using Falef whenever you like.
9. No promises about availability, and limits on our liability
Falef is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or a decision you made from a wrong answer. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed. If you keep using Falef after a change, you accept the new terms.
